Terms of Use

Last updated: 2 October 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Risbot ("Risbot", "we", "us"). They apply whenever you use risbot.io, any Risbot Telegram bot, or the software and servers behind them (together, the "Service").

You agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy when you do any of the following:

  • create an account, however you create it. That includes email and password, "Continue with Google", and Google's one-tap sign-in prompt;
  • sign in;
  • send a message to a Risbot bot; or
  • otherwise use the Service.

Signing up with Google has no separate box to tick. It is still an agreement to these Terms, exactly as registering with an email is.

It is your responsibility to read these Terms and the Privacy Policy before you use the Service, and to check them again when they change (see section 13). Both are always available at risbot.io/terms and risbot.io/privacy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Please read section 4 carefully

Trading leveraged futures carries a high risk of loss, and you can lose more than you deposit. Risbot is execution software. It does not give investment advice, and every trading decision is yours.

1. What Risbot is, and what it is not

Risbot is software. It connects to your own exchange account through an API key you create. It then places, changes and closes orders on that account according to the instructions, settings and limits you give it, through our website, our Telegram bots or alerts you set up yourself.

Risbot is not:

  • a broker, exchange, bank or custodian. We never hold, receive or control the funds in your exchange account, and you can only deposit or withdraw them with your exchange;
  • an investment adviser, portfolio manager or signal service. We do not choose trades for you and do not recommend any symbol, strategy, position size or risk level;
  • your agent or fiduciary.

The Service calculates things for you, such as position size, fees, leverage, risk-reward, stop-loss levels and loss limits. These calculations apply rules you choose. They are not advice, and no default value, allowed range, example or explanation in the Service or in the manual is a recommendation to use it.

Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. If you need advice, speak to a qualified professional.

2. Who can use the Service

You may use the Service only if all of these are true:

  • you are at least 18 years old, and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live;
  • you are not a person named on, owned or controlled by someone named on, or acting for someone named on, a sanctions list issued by the United Nations, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, the European Union or the United Kingdom;
  • you are not located in, resident in or organised under the laws of a country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions under those regimes;
  • using the Service, trading leveraged derivatives and holding an account with your exchange are all legal for you where you are, and allowed under your exchange's own terms. Exchanges restrict users from many countries. Checking that you are allowed to use yours is your responsibility, not ours.

You must not use a VPN, a false address or any other means to hide where you are in order to get around these rules or your exchange's rules.

If we reasonably believe you do not meet these requirements, we may refuse, suspend or close your account (see section 12).

3. Your accounts

Your Risbot account. Give accurate information when you register, and keep your password, authenticator app, recovery codes and email account secure. We strongly recommend turning on two-factor authentication. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and under any Telegram account you link to it, unless it happens because we breached these Terms. Tell us straight away at support@risbot.io if you think someone else has access.

Your exchange account and API key. Your exchange account is between you and your exchange, under its own terms. You decide which API key to connect and which permissions it has, and you are responsible for that choice. Always follow the setup guide. In particular:

  • never give a key withdrawal or asset-transfer permission;
  • create the key on a sub-account, not your main account;
  • restrict the key to our server's IP address.

Risbot does not refuse a key because of its permissions. It reads and shows the permissions a key has, but it will not refuse a key that has more permissions than it needs. You can revoke a key on your exchange at any time, and that is the fastest way to stop Risbot trading on your account.

Never share an API key or secret with anyone, including anyone claiming to be from Risbot. We will never ask you for one. Our only support channels are listed on Getting Help. Use Verify a bot to check that a Telegram bot is really ours.

4. Trading risk

By using the Service you confirm that you understand, and accept, that:

  • leveraged derivatives are high risk. Prices can move sharply and quickly, positions can be liquidated, and you can lose all of the funds in your exchange account and, in some circumstances, more than you deposited;
  • orders may not execute as you expect. They can be rejected, delayed, only partly filled, filled at a worse price (slippage), or not placed at all. This can happen because of market conditions, your exchange's rules or systems, network problems, or a failure in the Service;
  • risk controls can fail. The Service's loss limits, trade caps, trading-day rules and similar settings are designed to reduce risk, but they cannot remove it. They can be set up wrongly, may not trigger in time, and depend on data from your exchange that may be late or wrong;
  • past results do not predict future results. Performance figures, analytics and trade history in the Service describe the past and are for your information only;
  • you are responsible for your trading. That includes every setting you choose, every order the Service places on your instruction, and checking your exchange account yourself. Do not rely on the Service as your only way of watching your positions.

When a position is opened, its stop-loss and take-profit are sent to your exchange with the order, so they stay in place if the Service stops. Some later actions, such as adding to a position, moving a stop to breakeven or changing a take-profit, remove and re-place those orders. For a short time, or for longer if your exchange refuses the new ones, the position can be without them. Anything else the Service does for an open position needs the Service to be running and reachable.

5. Services run by others

The Service relies on services we do not run or control, including your exchange, Telegram, TradingView, Google, blockchain networks, and our hosting and infrastructure providers. Your use of each is also subject to its own terms.

We are not responsible for what those services do or fail to do. That includes outages, changes to their APIs or rules, restrictions or closures of your accounts with them, and liquidations or losses on your exchange account.

6. Availability and changes to the Service

The Service is in beta. It may contain errors, and it may be unavailable at times, whether for maintenance, because of a failure, or for reasons outside our control. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time.

We may change, add or remove features. If a change significantly reduces what a paid plan you have already paid for includes, we will tell you, and you can ask for a refund of the unused part of that plan.

7. Plans and payments

Plans. The Service has a free plan and paid plans. What each includes, and its current price, is on the pricing page and in the manual. We may change prices and plans, but a change never affects a period you have already paid for.

How you pay. Prices are in US dollars and are paid in the stablecoins, on the blockchain networks, listed in the billing guide. A payment to your deposit address is added to your account as credit, and invoices are paid from that credit. Nothing renews automatically. A plan ends at the end of the period you paid for unless you pay for another. You then move to the free plan, and any bots beyond its limits are paused automatically, keeping their keys and settings, until you renew or free a slot.

Sending payments correctly. Blockchain transfers cannot be reversed. It is your responsibility to send a supported token, on a supported network, to the correct address. If you send anything else, or send to the wrong address, we will try to help where we reasonably can, but we cannot promise to recover it. You pay any network or exchange fees for your transfer.

Account credit is not money, a deposit or electronic money. It earns no interest, cannot be withdrawn, cashed out or transferred to another account, and can only be used to pay for the Service. It does not expire while your account is open. It is lost if you delete your account (see section 12), except in the cases where section 8 says it is refunded.

Coupons and gift cards have no cash value and may carry their own conditions, which we will show you when you use them.

Taxes. Prices do not include taxes unless we say they do. If the law requires us to charge a tax, we will show it on your invoice. You are responsible for any tax that applies to you because of your own trading.

8. Refunds

You can get a refund of a payment if both of these are true:

  1. you paid it no more than 7 days ago; and
  2. no trade has been placed on any of your bots since you paid it. A trade counts when your exchange accepted the order. A signal that was refused does not count.

An invoice paid entirely from account credit cannot be refunded this way, because nothing was paid on the blockchain.

To ask for one, email support@risbot.io within those 7 days with the invoice number. Refunds are not automatic. We check both conditions before approving.

What you paid on the blockchain is sent back to an address it came from, on that transfer's network and in its token. If you paid in more than one transfer, all of it goes to one of them, normally the one that completed the payment. Any part you paid from account credit goes back to your account as credit. The plan period the payment bought ends when the refund is approved. The details are in the refunds guide.

If you paid from an exchange, say so when you ask. An exchange may not credit a transfer sent back to an address it withdrew from.

We will also refund the unused part of any paid plan, and any unused account credit, if:

  • we close your account for a reason that is not your breach of these Terms or the law; or
  • we stop providing the Service.

Apart from these cases, payments are not refundable. That does not affect any right to a refund that the law where you live gives you and that cannot be excluded by a contract.

9. How you must not use the Service

You must not:

  • break any law or regulation, or help anyone else do so;
  • use the Service for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or to get around sanctions;
  • manipulate a market, for example by spoofing, layering or wash trading;
  • use someone else's account, API key or Telegram account without their permission, or let someone else use yours;
  • get around a plan's limits, for example by opening extra accounts;
  • copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the Service, except where the law allows this and cannot be excluded by contract;
  • access the Service with automated tools other than those we provide, or overload, scrape, probe or disrupt it;
  • try to get around any security measure, or access data that is not yours;
  • pretend to be Risbot or its team, or run a bot or website that could be mistaken for ours.

If you find a security problem, report it privately to support@risbot.io and do not use it.

10. Ownership

We, and our licensors, own the Service, including its software, design, text, manual and the Risbot name and logo. While you comply with these Terms, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own trading. We may end that right as set out in section 12.

Your settings, trade records and other data remain yours. You allow us to use them to run, secure and support the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.

11. Our responsibility to you

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about it other than those in these Terms. In particular, we do not promise that it will make you money, that it will prevent losses, or that its calculations, analytics or data from your exchange will be accurate or complete.

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for:

  • trading losses, missed trades, liquidations, or profits you did not make;
  • losses caused by the markets, your exchange or any other service in section 5;
  • losses caused by your settings, your instructions, or the permissions you gave an API key;
  • losses caused by someone using your accounts or API keys, unless that was our fault;
  • loss of data, loss of goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims connected with the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event the claim is about, or 100 US dollars.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that the law does not allow to be limited or excluded. That includes liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, and for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these Terms takes away any right you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live that cannot be waived by agreement.

Your responsibility to us. You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs, including reasonable legal costs, arising from a claim by someone else that is caused by your breach of these Terms or of the law. This applies only to the extent the loss was caused by you.

12. Ending your use of the Service

You can stop at any time. Revoke your API keys on your exchange, and delete your account under Security in your account on the website. Deleting your account describes the two ways to do it and what each one removes: Delete profile keeps your bot settings and trade history, linked to your Telegram account, and Erase everything removes your settings and keeps your trade history for legal purposes, never returned to you.

We may suspend, restrict or close your account if we reasonably believe that:

  • you have broken these Terms, or you do not meet the requirements in section 2;
  • the law, a court, a regulator or a sanctions rule requires it;
  • your account is being used for fraud or other illegal activity, or has been compromised; or
  • continuing would create a serious security, legal or financial risk to us or to other users.

Where the law and the circumstances allow, we will tell you why, and give you a chance to respond first.

Open positions are never closed for you. Whoever ends the Service, and however it ends, close or manage your positions on your exchange yourself. Once your account or key is gone, Risbot has no way to do it.

When the Service ends for you, sections 4, 5, 7 (on credit), 8, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 15 continue to apply.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms, for example when the Service changes or the law requires it. The date at the top shows the latest version.

If a change is significant, we will tell you by email, through the bot or on the website at least 14 days before it takes effect. Changes needed for legal or security reasons may take effect sooner.

If you do not agree with a change, stop using the Service and delete your account before it takes effect. If you have a paid plan, you can ask for a refund of its unused part. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply to you.

14. Law and disputes

If you have a problem with the Service, please contact support@risbot.io first. Most problems can be solved that way, and we will try in good faith to resolve yours within 30 days.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

However, if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of any rule of the law of the country where you live that cannot be excluded by contract. You may also bring a claim in the courts of that country where its law gives you that right.

15. General

  • The whole agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If the manual and these Terms disagree, these Terms apply.
  • If part is invalid. If a court finds any part of these Terms invalid or unenforceable, that part is applied to the fullest extent the law allows, and the rest stays in effect.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
  • Transfer. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours as part of a reorganisation, merger or sale of the Service. If we do, your rights under these Terms will not be reduced, and we will tell you.
  • Events outside our control. We are not responsible for failing to perform because of events beyond our reasonable control. Section 5 lists some of them.
  • Language. These Terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version applies where the two differ, to the extent the law allows.
  • Notices. We may send you notices by email to your account's address, through a Risbot bot you use, or on the website. You can send notices to us at support@risbot.io.
