Your Profile
Your display name, your time zone, the avatar it produces, and why your email is fixed.
Profile, in the sidebar of your account, holds the two things about your account you can change: the name you go by, and the zone you read dates in.
Your display name
Type it, press Save changes, and it is yours. It is what support sees when you write in, what the account menu at the top right of every account page shows, and the name your invoices are made out to.
Every change is written to your account's log, with the old name and the new one. That is what lets support answer "why does this say something different from what I use" without guessing.
A name is required - the field will not save empty. If you have never set one, your email stands in for it until you do.
Signing in with Google no longer renames you
The first time you sign in, we take whatever name your provider gives us so your account is not nameless. After that it is yours. Set a name here and signing in again - with Google, with your password, from a new device - leaves it exactly as you left it.
Registering with an email address gives us no name at all, which is why that account starts without one until you set it here.
Your avatar
The first two letters of your display name, and nothing else. Change the name and the avatar follows it on the next page load.
There are no photo uploads. It is not a feature that is coming - two letters identify you in the one place it appears, and an upload form is a place to put a file we would then have to store, serve and moderate.
Your email
Fixed, and shown greyed out to say so. It is the identity your whole account hangs off - your sign-in, your Telegram link, your plan - so there is no flow anywhere for changing it.
Verified beside it means the address has been proven, either by the code you entered when you registered or by the provider you signed in with. Every account that can reach this page has done one of those.
If you need to move to a different address, the only route is Delete profile and registering again with the new one. Link the same Telegram account to the new profile afterward and your bot settings, guardrails and trade history reattach to it - skip that step and they stay unreachable rather than gone, until you do. Choose Erase everything instead of Delete profile and your bot settings and guardrails are gone for good; your trade history is not deleted with them - it is kept for legal purposes, but never returned to you or to a new account.
Your plan and account credit do not move with you. Either ending ends a paid plan, and credit left on the old account is lost - billing belongs to the profile, and registering again makes a new one. Spend any credit first, and time the change for when your plan is due to end anyway.
Your time zone
Every date and time on this site is shown in the zone you pick here - when you joined, when your Telegram account was linked, when an exchange key was connected.
It is set for you the first time you sign in, from whatever your browser says you are in - so for most people there is nothing to do here. Change it whenever you like, here or from the globe at the top of every account page, which shows the offset you are on; once it is set, nothing changes it again but you.
That matters if you travel: opening your account on a machine in another country does not move your dates. The zone you chose stays until you choose another.
Every zone is listed with the offset it is currently on - (GMT+4) Dubai - and the search
matches either half, so you can type dubai or GMT+4 and get there. The offset shown is
the one in force today: a zone on summer time reads an hour off what it says in winter,
which is the zone changing rather than the list being wrong.
This is also every bot you have linked's UTC offset
Your zone here is the time zone of every bot you have linked, too - not just the text of a date on this website. Each bot's day for the Daily Loss Limit and Trading Days starts at midnight in it, and follows daylight saving when it is a city rather than a fixed number.
Changing it here changes your bots. Setting a UTC offset in a bot changes it here too - and
if that offset is not your city's, this field shows something like GMT+3 with no city ticked
until you pick one. A bot you start later arrives on your zone too, rather than on UTC.
Your Profile ID
Open the account menu - your initials, at the top right of every account page - and under
your name is a short code like 92D7-B169; click it to copy it. It is the one thing to quote
if you contact support.
There is nothing secret about it. It identifies which account you are asking about and nothing more - it is not a password, it grants nobody access, and it is safe to paste into a message or a group chat, which your email address is not.
Quote it whenever you report something. Support can find your account from it directly, which is quicker than working backwards from an email address you may have changed, or from a Telegram handle you share with somebody else.
