Notification Settings
The switches deciding which unprompted messages the bot sends you.
Notification Settings is a list of on/off switches, and each decides the same narrow thing: whether a message is sent. Nothing else.
That is the distinction to hold before anything else on this page. Muting a notification does not mute the event. A trade you stopped hearing about is still placed, a rejection you muted still refuses the trade and is still written to your history, and a balance warning you turned off still describes a real balance. The switch removes the message from your chat and changes nothing on the exchange, in your settings, or in your records.
For what each of those messages actually says - the frame, the fields, the wording - see Notifications. This page is only about turning them on and off.

🔔 Isolated Margin Warning: ON
Billing
These apply to your whole account, not just this bot.
🔔 Receipts: ON
🔔 Plan Ending Soon: ON
🔔 Plan Has Ended: ON
🔔 Referral Credit: ON
The emails are separate, and are switched on the website.
📖 How this panel works9:35 PMEach switch appears twice: as a status line in the body and as the button that flips it. The
🔔 bell means on, the 🔕 crossed bell means off, and the state is spelled out as ON or OFF
beside it so the two are never ambiguous at a glance.
The panel has two groups, and they are not the same kind of setting. The two at the top are about this bot and are stored with the rest of its settings - hold two bots and each has its own pair. The Billing group below them belongs to your account, so those four are the same wherever you flip them.
The account above has muted one
The example shows Balance Warning switched off. That is a choice someone made, not a default - every switch starts on, and a new account is sent everything.
Tapping is the whole edit
A button flips its own switch immediately: saved, and the panel redrawn in place. There is no confirmation step, no prompt to reply to, and no separate Save. The line you were looking at simply reads the other way.
That also means there is no cancel. Tap it again to put it back.
What always sends, and cannot be muted
Three kinds of message have no switch: ✅ Trade Executed, ❌ Trade Rejected and 🚨 Order Failed. They used to be mutable and are not any more.
They are the record of what happened to your money. A muted Trade Executed means a position
opened while you were away leaves no trace in the chat; a muted Trade Rejected hides the
Reason: line, so an account with a misconfigured guard looks exactly like an account nobody
is trading on; a muted Order Failed hides a stop-loss that failed to rebuild, which
is the one message that means a position may be sitting there unprotected. Each of those
choices is made once, in a quiet moment, and paid for months later during the trade that
needed it.
Nothing about them changed except the switch. They still say the same things, still arrive the same way, and are still written to your history.
The trade switches
Each covers a family of messages, not a single one - the exact membership of each family is listed in Notifications.
Both of the ones that remain are advisory: they warn about a condition rather than report an action, they repeat while that condition lasts, and the condition is often something you already know about and meant.
🔔 Balance Warning
The message saying your exchange balance has drifted outside its Balance Range - too much of your capital away from the exchange, or too much of it on.
This is the most reasonable switch to turn off, because the warning repeats on every trade while the condition lasts, and the condition is often deliberate. Nothing is lost by muting it: the same warning still appears at the top of the 📊 Risk Management panel whenever you open it out of range, and it never rejected a trade in the first place.
🔔 Isolated Margin Warning
The message telling you your Bybit account is on Isolated margin rather than Cross.
It matters because the bot's leverage and liquidation-safety maths assume Cross, where a position is backed by the whole account balance and liquidation sits further from entry. On Isolated, liquidation is closer than the bot intends. Muting the warning does not make the assumption true - switching the account back to Cross does.
Billing notices
The four below the divider are the messages about your account rather than your trades: a payment landing, a plan about to run out, a plan that has, and credit from somebody you invited. Switching one off stops that message arriving in Telegram.
They are your account's, not this bot's. Hold three bots and you have one Receipts switch, not three - flipping it in any of them flips it in all of them, which is what the line above the group says.
The email is a separate switch
Every one of these four also arrives by email, and turning it off here does not turn off the email. The two are independent on purpose: plenty of people want the receipt filed in their inbox and not repeated in a chat, and plenty want the opposite. The emails are switched on the website, which has three more besides - a payment that arrived short, a refund's credit note, and a redeemed gift card, none of which are sent to Telegram at all.
If you have not linked a web profile
The Billing group is not shown at all. Those notices are about invoices and plans, which an account with no linked profile does not have - so rather than draw four switches over nothing, the panel leaves them out until there is something for them to govern.
What else has no switch
Everything except the switches above always sends. Beyond the three above, that includes ✅ Position Added, 🎯 Take Profit Updated, the add and stop-loss failure alerts, and 🔌 Bybit Disconnected, all of which are about your money; the generic 🚨 Error, because a silent failure is worse than an unwanted message; 📊 Position Updated, because it only ever answers a button you pressed; and the two Notify Only guard messages, which are already the quiet setting. Notifications says which is which.
A switch that cannot be read counts as on
If the bot cannot reach your settings when a notification is due, it sends it. The same is true for an account with no settings row yet, and for any error in the lookup.
That direction is deliberate. Failing the other way would mean a database hiccup silently stopping the messages that tell you your money moved - and stopping them in a way that looks identical to a quiet market.

Previews never notify
🔍 Preview runs the whole calculation without placing anything, and none of these messages is sent for it however the switches are set - everything it would have sent is shown to you on the panel instead. Its one exception is a real infrastructure failure, which arrives as 🚨 Error and has no switch anyway.
