Collateral Balance
Counting funds held outside the exchange toward your sizing.
Collateral Balance is a dollar figure you type in yourself: money you count as trading capital but which is not sitting on the exchange - in a hardware wallet, another account, anywhere the bot cannot see.
It exists so that sizing can reflect the capital you actually have, rather than only the part you have moved across. Nothing about it is verified: the bot takes the number on trust and uses it exactly as given.

๐ How this panel works9:35 PMReply with a plain amount. A leading $ is accepted, and so are thousands separators when
every comma groups three digits - $1,200.50 is read as 1200.50. A comma used any other
way is left alone so the value fails rather than being silently misread.
What it changes
One thing, everywhere:
total balance = exchange wallet balance + Collateral BalanceEvery percentage the bot works in is a percentage of that total balance - Max Risk Per Trade, the risk you type into Sniper or Manual Entry, and the Daily Loss Limit percent cap.
On an account with $2145.30 on the exchange:
| Collateral Balance | Total balance | A 2.5% trade risks |
|---|---|---|
$0.00 | $2145.30 | $53.63 |
$500.00 | $2645.30 | $66.13 |
$2000.00 | $4145.30 | $103.63 |
The percentage never moved. Every trade got bigger anyway, because the number it is a percentage of did.
The ๐ Risk Management panel also shows what share of your total balance the collateral
is - $500.00 (18.9%) in the example above - so a figure that has quietly grown into most
of your capital is visible without doing the arithmetic.
Collateral is not margin
This is the one thing to understand before setting a large number here.
Collateral raises what every trade risks in dollars, but not a cent of it can be posted as margin. Margin comes only from the exchange balance. So a large collateral figure sizes trades against capital that cannot pay for them, and the trades start being turned away - usually for needing more leverage than the symbol allows, and once nothing is spendable at all, for margin:
Reason: Insufficient margin available. Please add more funds or reduce trade size. Two other settings exist because of exactly this gap. Balance Range watches the ratio between the two balances and warns you when too little of your capital is on the exchange. Buffer Percent is measured against the exchange balance alone, deliberately, so collateral can never inflate it.
Accepted values
| Range | 0 or greater |
| Unit | Dollars |
| Scope | Per account - every account has its own value |
| Default | $0.00 until you set one |
The prompt states the rule itself:
Must be 0 or greater. There is no upper bound, and no check against anything real. Setting it back to 0 is how
you remove it.
This is not the Collateral Wallet checker
โ๏ธ Settings โ ๐ผ Watch Collateral Wallet looks up the live balance of an on-chain wallet address and reports it. It is a convenience for checking a figure, and it does not feed this setting or any calculation - see Collateral Wallet. The number used for sizing is only ever the one you typed here.
