The Symbol List
The saved tickers shared by Sniper and Manual Entry.
Both trading panels pick their symbol from one saved list. It is deliberately a list and not a text field: a symbol you type wrong is a symbol the exchange rejects, or worse, a different market than the one you meant.
Where to find it
๐ค Symbol on either Sniper or Manual Entry.
syref:{"origin":"sniper","edit":false,"draft":{"symbol":"BTCUSDT"}}9:35 PMThere is one list, not one per panel. A symbol added from Manual Entry is immediately there in Sniper too.
Tap a symbol to select it and return to the panel you came from, with the rest of your draft exactly as you left it - except a typed Sniper Take Profit, which is cleared when you switch to a different symbol. The โ marks the one currently selected.
Your list starts with BTCUSDT.P and ETHUSDT.P, and is yours to change from
there.
Editing the list
โ๏ธ Edit List switches the same screen into edit mode:
syref:{"origin":"sniper","edit":true,"draft":{"symbol":"BTCUSDT"}}9:35 PM| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| The symbol's name | Opens a prompt to rename it. |
| ๐ผ / ๐ฝ | Moves it up or down. Order here is the order the picker shows. |
| ๐ | Deletes it. |
| โ Add Symbol | Adds a new ticker to the end of the list. |
There is no Save button
Every tap in edit mode writes to the database immediately. โ Back does not cancel anything - it just leaves edit mode with your changes already in place. A deletion is gone, not pending.
Why the arrows sometimes double up
The top row shows two ๐ฝ and the bottom row two ๐ผ. Telegram has no disabled button, and a greyed-out placeholder reads as a button that does nothing, so an edge row fills both slots with the one move it can actually make. A list with a single symbol drops the arrows entirely rather than showing a pair that lies.
Symbols a preset uses are protected
While a Sniper preset references a symbol, that symbol cannot be renamed or deleted:
Can't delete ETHUSDT.P - it's used in preset "ETH 15m". Delete the preset first.Otherwise the preset would point at a symbol that no longer exists, and you would not find out until the trade failed.
Naming
Symbols are saved in upper case with spaces removed, including the .P suffix that marks a
perpetual. The bot strips that suffix when it talks to the exchange, so
BTCUSDT.P and BTCUSDT reach Bybit as the same market - the suffix is there
to match how the symbol reads on a TradingView chart.
